Potato Stuffed Sandwich Recipe

Potato Stuffed Sandwich Recipe

About Recipe:


These are made by filling in bread. You can make them by mixing mixed vegetables, potatoes, egg omelet, or mince. Here you are being given a vegetarian recipe (filled with potatoes), which you can fill with tea. Both food and lunch can be used in time.

Ingredients:


Ingredients:

  • 500 gms - potatoes
  • Slices of bread-10 to 12
  • Peas - 50 grams
  • Onion - 4 big size
  • 6-8 green chillies
  • Cumin -1/2 tsp.
  • Green coriander - 1 cup washed( chopped )
  • Red Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp.
  • 1 lemon juice
  • Pinch of asafoetida
  • 1 spoon ghee
  • Salt to taste

Directions/Method:


  1. First wash the potatoes and boil it with a cup of water in the cooker. If you put it in the oven, keep it in a microwave for 5 minutes. When the potatoes are boiled, peel them well.
  2. Now chopped the onions and green chilies into small pieces.
  3. Now put one spoon of ghee in kadai and heat it. Add cumin and asafoetida after heating ghee. Now roast the chopped onions and green chillies till it becomes golden brown, sprinkle some salt over it so it gets quickly brown.
  4. Now add  peas to roast them in kadai. Now mix the mashed potatoes.Add salt, red chillies powder, coriander powder in kadai and add all the mixture well. When all the ingredients are cooked then add lemon juice to it. When the mixture is ready, take it from gas and keep it aside.
  5. Now the sandwich toaster which is easily found in the market. Heat the toaster on the gas. Put the potato mash on a slice of bread. Now cover the second slice of bread on it. Put a small spoon of ghee in the toaster, and keep the sandwich in the toaster for toast, about 3 minutes.
  6. the first sandwich takes time to toast as toaster is properly not heat up, the next sandwich will be cooked quickly. You can eat them with green chutney or any sauce. You can wrap them in paper or take them to work or travel.
