Mushroom butter masala recipe (बटर मशरुम रेसिपी) made with mushrooms and spicy gravy. Mushroom butter masala is a spicy, creamy and a delicious dish that is perfect to served with steamed rice or flatbread. So lets make mushroom butter masala recipe step by step.

Ingredients Of Mushroom Butter Masala Recipe:


Main Ingredients:

  • 200 gm Button Mushroom
  • 100 gm Butter
  • 1-2 nos Bay leaf
  • 1-2 nos Cinnamon stick
  • 4-5 nos Black pepper
  • 2-4 nos Black cardamom
  • 2-3 medium onion (sliced)
  • 2 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
  • 2 Tomato puree
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 1 tsp Kasuri methi
  • 1 tsp Salt

How To Make Mushroom Butter Masala Recipe Directions/Method:


  1. Take a pan to add butter in it, add all dry ingredients ( bay leaf, black cardamom, cinnamon stick, black pepper) stir it for a while.
  2. Add sliced onions saute it till it becomes golden brown, add ginger garlic paste in it stir it.
  3. Now add mushrooms in it and saute it for about 3-4 minutes cover it with lid.
  4. Add all spices (turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, salt) in it.
  5. Now add tomato puree in it and saute it for about 2-3 minutes until it leaves oil from it.
  6. Then add kasuri methi powder and garam masala in it. Keep stirring on low flame.
  7. Your Butter Mushroom Recipe is ready to serve, garnish it with coriander leaf and a tomato slice.
