About Recipe:


Fried chicken (also referred as southern fried chicken recipe in the United States) is a dish consisting of crispy chicken pieces. which have been floured or battered with spices and then pan-fried, deep fried, or pressure fried into oil. The corn flour or all purpose flour adds a crisp coating or crust to the exterior of the chicken. In crispy fried chicken recipe the chicken is cut at the joints, and the bones and skin are left intact. Crisp well-seasoned skin, rendered of excess fat, is a hallmark of well made fried chicken. In this video we are going to learn how to make easy fried chicken recipe from step by step so lets get started.

Ingredients:


Main Ingredients:

  • 1 kg chicken chunks
  • 200 gm all purpose flour
  • 200 gm corn flour
  • 2 tbsp. salt
  • 4 tbsp. black pepper
  • 2 tbsp. chilli flakes
  • 1 tbsp. chilli powder
  • 3 tbsp. seasoning (garlic powder + parsley + oregano + basil)
  • 3 eggs white
  • 150 ml milk

For Garnishing:

  • Onion rings
  • Lemon slice
  • Raita

Directions/Method:


Egg and milk mixture:

Take a bowl and add egg white, milk in a bowl and whisk it well with fork.

 

Making of flour coating:

Step 1:

Take a bowl add all purpose flour and corn flour mix it.

Step 2:

Add all spices (salt, black pepper, chilli powder and chilli flakes)

Step 3:

Now add seasoning in mixture (garlic powder + parsley + oregano + basil)

 

Making of fried chicken:

Step 1:

Take a pan, add canola oil in it and heat it.

Step 2:

Now take chicken chunks and dip it in egg-milk mixture and dust it in flour coating.

Step 3:

Again repeat the same step for more crispiness.

Step 4:

Now fry the chicken chunks on medium flame so it cook well.

Step 5:

Cook well before removing chicken pieces.

Your crispy fried chicken is ready, serve it with raita.
