About Baingan Ka Bharata Recipe:


Baingan bharta (mashed eggplant) is a South Asian dish. Baingan bharta is a part of the national cuisines of India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.

Baingan Bharta is basically fire roasted eggplant mash cooked with spices. There are different ways of making this bharta [bharta=mash] but this is the most common way and the one you will find in Indian restaurants.

It is primarily a vegetarian dish that is prepared by mincing eggplant (baingan) that is grilled over charcoal or direct fire. This infuses the dish with smoky flavour. The smoked and mashed eggplant is then mixed with fresh cilantro (coriander leaves), chili pepper, onion and mustard oil. Baingan ka bharata recipe is traditionally, the dish is often eaten with an Indian flatbread (specifically roti or paratha).

Ingredients Of Baingan Ka Bharata Recipe:


Ingredients:

  • 500 g Brinjal
  • 2 large - onion
  • 10 to 15 - Garlic buds
  • One inch - piece of ginger
  • One big spoon - native ghee
  • 1/2 spoon - cumin
  • Pinch full - asafoetida
  • 4 -green chilli
  • 1 tbsp - grounded coriander powder
  • Half teaspoon - red chillies
  • 1/4 teaspoon - turmeric
  • 2 - tomatoes
  • Salt - according to taste
  • One Cup - Green Coriander Chopped
  • ½ tsp - Garam Masala
  • A teaspoon - fresh cream

How To Make Baingan Ka Bharata Recipe Directions/Method:


1. First wash the brinjal and put some oil on them and put them aside.

2. Now make a paste of onion, garlic, ginger and green chillies and make a paste of tomatoes.

3. Now you take the brinjal well on the flame and peel off them. Now clean the roasted brinjal thoroughly and grind it fine.

4. Now put a kadahi on the gas to heat it. Put a big spoon of the country ghee in it. Put the cumin seeds on the heat and add the asafoetida also. If the remaining one is finely chopped into a ghee by turning it in the ghee Take the l

5. Now add ginger and grated paste of garlic and roast it and roast until it gets on top of the ghee. Onion and garlic paste thoroughly roast it, then add roasted tomatoes paste in it.

6. After roasting the paste, add red chillies, coriander, turmeric, salt and roast it well. Now add the roasted brinjal in it and add some hot masala over after five minutes of cooking.

7. Your Baingan ka bharata recipe is ready. Add fresh cream in the end and mix the gas. Arrange it with hot coriander and serve hot with hot chapatiyo.
