Suji/semolina mathri is very tasty namkeen snack. Everyone can eat it with coffee, or tea as an evening snack. It looks pretty in pasta shape and taste delicious, children would love to eat it. So let`s make pasta style suji mathri step by step.

Ingredients Of Suji Stick Recipe (Suji Mathri):


Main Ingredients:

  • 150 gm suji/semolina
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp kasuri methi
  • 30 gm ghee
  • Warm water
  • Pinch of chat masala
  • Ghee for fry

How To Make Suji Stick Recipe (Suji Mathri) Directions/Method:


  1. Take a bowl to add suji/semolina, salt and kasuri methi mix it well.
  2. Now add ghee in a mixture, bind it and make a soft dough with the help of warm water (tip: don’t use too much water just a little bit to bind it).
  3. Keep it aside for about 20 minutes.
  4. After that take a small portion from the dough and make it in chapati shape.
  5. Now take a small cap of any bottle, make a 1-inch diameter circle and cut it.
  6. Take one piece place it on a fork, press it slightly and roll it.
  7. Take a kadai to add ghee in it, heat it.
  8. Now add all the sticks in ghee for frying, until it becomes light brown.
  9. After that take all of them and sprinkle some chat masala over it.
  10. Your yummy tasty delicious suji stick is ready.
