About Recipe:


Cumin seed potato is a popular vegetable from Indian cuisine. Cumin Potato Recipe is a dish made in India. It is mainly made with potatoes, onions, tomatoes, green chillies. You can also take it for a ride.

Ingredients:


Material -

  • One kilogram of boiled potato
  • A teaspoon cumin seeds
  • Pinch filled - asafoetida
  • Four green chilies - finely chopped
  • One spoon - amchoor powder (mango powder)
  • One big spoon - native ghee
  • Pinch filled - turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp - Coriander Powder
  • According to the taste - salt
  • To decorate - green coriander

Directions/Method:


  1. First peel the potatoes and cut them into small pieces and keep them aside.
  2. Now heat the ghee in a pan. When ghee becomes hot, then add asafoetida to it.
  3. When the asafoetida is fry, you add finely chopped green chillies.
  4. Now add turmeric to it and add the potato and mix well.
  5. Add coriander powder and salt according to taste and cook for five minutes.
  6. Now add amchoor in these potato’s curry and keep it covered for a while.
  7. Once potato is made into vegetable, decorate it with green coriander and serve it.
  8. Your Cumin Potato Recipe is ready. To take the journey, you can take this vegetable in the car too. You can eat it with a paddy, paratha, roti or naan.
