Ingredients Of Lauki Ka Halwa (gourd Pudding) Recipe:


Main Ingredients:

  • Gourd/lauki (1 kg, grated)
  • Milk (1 cup)
  • Mawa/khoya (1 cup)
  • Cardamom powder (1 teaspoon)
  • Sugar (3 teaspoons)
  • Cashews (10 pieces cut)
  • Almonds (6 pieces cut)

How To Make Lauki Ka Halwa (gourd Pudding) Recipe Directions/Method:


  1. Grate the gourd and grate it. Squeeze the gourd to extract excess water from it.
  2. Stir hard on a medium flame, add gourd to it.
  3. Keep it running with a spoon and roast it.
  4. Now pour milk in it, and mix it well and let it keep up till boiling.
  5. When the mixture starts boiling, add mawa and slow the flame until it thickens.
  6. Stir it continuously with a spoon to avoid stickiness in Kadai.
  7. Now add cardamom powder, sugar, cashew nuts, and almonds.
  8. Run from a continuous spoon until the mixture becomes thick and cook until moisture is cooked.
  9. Mix all of them well, Now it is ready to serve.
