Moong dal pakoda (मूंग दाल पकोड़ा) also known as moong dal bhajiya is a popular and tasty street food snack from indian region. moong dal pakoda made with yellow mung lentil (ground moong dal) and some indian spices. you can enjoy this pakoda snacks recipe in the evening with cup of tea. So lets make moong dal pakoda recipe step by step.

Ingredients Of Moong Dal Pakoda Recipe:


Main Ingredients:

  • 250gm Moong Dal (soaked)
  • 3 medium Onions (chopped)
  • Pinch of Asafoetida
  • 1 tbsp Ginger paste
  • 1 tbsp Green chilli paste
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp Coriander seeds
  • 1 tbsp Red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Green coriander (chopped)

For Serving :

  • Green chilli chutney

How To Make Moong Dal Pakoda Recipe Directions/Method:


Batter making:

  1. Grind the soaked moong dal and make a thick paste of it.
  2. Add moong dal paste in a bowl.
  3. Now add all ingredients in a bowl (onions(chopped), green chilli paste, ginger paste, asafoetida, red chilli powder, green coriander, salt, coriander seeds, cumin seeds) and mix it well.

 

Pakodas making:

  1. Add oil in a pan heat it.
  2. Take a small quantity of batter in a spoon and make pakodas by deep-frying it.
  3. Sprinkle some chaat masala over it.
  4. Your moong dal pakora is ready. Serve it with green chutney.
