Paneer tikka is an Indian dish made from chunks of paneer marinated in spices and grilled in a tandoor. The main salad used in paneer tikka is capsicum, onions, and tomato that dice cutting in shape. Paneer tikka recipe made in oven, tandoor and on tawa or gas stove. It is a vegetarian alternative to chicken tikka and other meat dishes. It is a popular dish that is widely available in India and countries. You can serve paneer tikka with spicy raita or chutney. so lets start making paneer tikka recipe step by step.

Ingredients Of Paneer Tikka Recipe:


Main Ingredients:

  • 500 gm paneer
  • 250 gm hung curd
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 2-3 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp Kasuri methi
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 1/2 tsp celery
  • 2 tsp gram flour
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • salt to taste
  • 1-2 tbsp oil

For Salad:

  • 1 Onions, Capsicum, & Tomato (dice cutting).

How To Make Paneer Tikka Recipe Directions/Method:


  1. Take all ingredients in a bowl and mix well (hung curd, ginger garlic paste, turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, chat masala, garam masala, salt, kasuri methi, celery, lemon juice, gram flour) make sure that batter for marination is not too thin.
  2. Now add Paneer and salad (onion, capsicum, tomato) diced cut.
  3. Now add oil over it and mix it well.
  4. Leave it for 30 minutes.
  5. After 30 minutes thread them in skewers.
  6. Grill them in a pre-heated oven for about 10-15 minutes at 220 degrees.
  7. After that take it out from the oven, Your Paneer Tikka Recipe is ready to serve it with dip or raita.
