Coconut Sponge cake recipe is a cake based on flour, sugar, butter and eggs, and is sometimes leavened with baking powder....A sponge cake is produced using the batter method. A basic sponge recipe, which uses eggs as its softness, and the rich flavor of vanilla are very enjoyable, and you will find this sponge suitable for plenty of marvellous creations.
Ingredients Of Coconut Sponge Cake Recipe:
1 Bowl Plain Flour (Maida)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- 1 bowl powdered sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 bowl coconut powder
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 bowl malai
How To Make Coconut Sponge Cake Recipe Directions/Method:
- Sieve the plain flour (Maida), baking powder and baking soda in deep bowl and keep aside.
- Take sugar in another bowl, add egg and mix gently with the help of spatula.
- Finally, add the plain flour mixture, coconut powder, vanilla essence and malai and fold gently using spatula.
- Grease a cake tin with ghee, dust it with a tsp of plain flour and transfer the batter into it.
- Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180ºc for 30 mins.
- Keep aside for cool slightly. Demould and use as required.
- Your Coconut Sponge Cake Recipe is ready
