‘Hakka’ word describes Chinese cuisine. It comes from Hong Kong. Veg Hakka noodles is a popular Indo Chinese dish that one can get in most restaurants in India and in roadside Chinese street food joints. This veg Hakka noodles recipe taste delicious and will have you craving for more. It is not only popular with kids, but also with grown-ups. Lets make Hakka noodle recipe step-by-step.

Ingredients Of Garlic Hakka Noodles Recipe:


Main Ingredients:

  • 200 gram Hakka noodles- 1 pack of Hakka noodles
  • 1 to 2 medium-sized Onions (chopped or Julienned)
  • 1 small to medium Capsicum (chopped or julienned)
  • 1 small bowl of Cabbage (finely chopped)
  • 1 to 2 tbsp. Schezwan chutney
  • 1 tbsp. Hakka noodles masala
  • 4-5 nos garlic (if want to make garlic noodles)
  • 2 to 3 tbsp. Ghee
  • Salt as per taste

How To Make Garlic Hakka Noodles Recipe Directions/Method:


Noodle Preparation:

  1. Boil enough water in a pot with some salt.
  2. Add the Hakka noodles in boil water and cook it.               
  3. Finely chop all the veggies (onions, capsicum, and cabbage) and keep aside.
  4. Drain and rinse the noodles in running water, so that the noodles stop cooking.
  5. Keep the noodles aside.

 

Making of Hakka noodles:

  1. Heat ghee in kadai or pan.
  2. On high flame, the heat adds all the veggies (onions, capsicum, and cabbage) and saute it for about 5 to 6mins till they get slightly brown.
  3. Add Schezwan chutney and stir fry it for about 1 min.
  4. Add Hakka noodles masala.
  5. Add salt as per taste. 
  6. Saute it for a minute, then add Hakka noodles and toss it well and stir fry for a minute on high heat.
  7. Your hakka noodle recipe is ready.
