About Recipe:


Til (Sesame Seeds) Ladoo is a healthy, delicious and simple recipe of ladoos that prepared with sesame seeds and jaggery. This recipe mainly made during makar sankranti festival. "Makar Sankrati" or "Sakraat" is one of the major festivals in india and the state of Rajasthan. The day is celebrated with special Rajasthani delicacies and sweets such as pheeni (either with sweet milk or sugar syrup dipped), til-paati, gajak, kheer, ghevar, pakodi, puwa, and til-laddoo in rajasthan. so lets make til ladoo dessert recipe step by step.

Ingredients:


Ingredients:

  • 200 gm sesame seed (til)
  • 250-300 gm jaggery (gud)
  • 2 tbsp almond powder
  • 1 tbsp green cardamom powder
  • 1 tbsp ghee

Directions/Method:


  1. Take a pan, add half of the sesame seeds (til)  to roast for about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Again roast the rest of the sesame seeds (till) in a pan.
  3. Grind the roasted seeds in a jar.
  4. Take them in a bowl.
  5. Now add all ingredients (almond powder, green cardamom powder, jaggery (gud) ) in grinded roasted til.
  6. Mix it well and add ghee, for making laddu.
  7. Now bind the mixture with hands and make small balls for til ke laddu.
  8. Then roll the laddu in rest of roasted sesame seeds.
  9. Your til ke laddu is ready.
