About Recipe:


Oats (Avena sativa), sometimes called oats, are the species of grain grown for their seeds. While oats are suitable for human consumption in the form of oatmeal and rolled oats, one of the most common uses is to make several types of diet mills. Oats is a nutrient-rich grain that helps in reducing cholesterol in the blood on regular basis, so it should be taken regularly in the diet.

Ingredients:


One Cup Oats [50g]

  • 1 tsp ghee
  • onion
  • Tomatoes
  • A bowl green peas
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • Pinch of asafoetida
  • Pinch of turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Four cups of water [should be around 1/2 litres]
  • To decorate a little green coriander

Directions/Method:


1- First of all, burn a gas stove and place a medium sized frying pan on it. In this, roast the oats without ghee, and take out the oats from frying pan after the fragrance occurs.

2- Then heat the ghee in the frying pan and add cumin and asafoetida. Add Finely chop onion and put it in the hot ghee. After roasting onions, add one bowl of peas and roast them. Now chop the tomatoes into small pieces and roast it with onions and peas. After frying the tomatoes, add salt as per turmeric and chillies and flavours. Now add roasted oats to it and mix it.

3- Now you add four cups of water in it, cover it and cook for 5 minutes. Oats is thickened after cooking. Therefore you can add some water to it. stop the gas when cooking.

4- Pour it in the bowl and serve it with green coriander. This dish is beneficial for breakfast. You can serve it to four people. You can also add the desired vegetables to it, eating it gives you high protein and carbohydrate.
