Afghani chicken recipe is known for its mild spicy and lip-licking flavours. This chicken afghani provides the vastest range of Afghani cuisine. This dish is mid spicy and delicious as well because of fresh cream and we bet your friends and family will love this dish. Unlike other Mughlai dishes, this one is slightly mild spicy, but you can garnish this dish with grated ginger, onions rings, and coriander leaves. Lets make afghani chicken recipe step-by-step.

Ingredients Of Afghani Chicken Recipe:


Main Ingredients:

  • 1 kg chicken
  • 4 tsp lime juice
  • 2 tbsp. ginger paste
  • 2 tbsp. garlic paste
  • 6 tbsp. heavy cream
  • 1 tsp green cardamom (grounded)
  • 6 tbsp. cashew nut paste
  • 3 tbsp. oil or ghee
  • 2 tsp ground black pepper
  • Salt to taste

For Garnishing:

  • 1 lemon slices
  • Onion rings
  • Green Coriander

How To Make Afghani Chicken Recipe Directions/Method:


For marination:

  1. Take a bowl, add Cream, Ginger paste, Garlic paste, Lime juice, and Cashew nut paste mix it well.
  2. Now add dry ingredient Black pepper and Cinnamon powder in it and whisk it slowly.
  3. Add salt according to taste.
  4. Your marination is ready.

 

For Afghani Chicken:

  1. Finally, add Chicken pieces in marination and cover it.

  2. Now add oil and keep it aside for about 3-4 hours or overnight, due to this it helps in enhance its flavor.
  3. After that, take an oven tray and add marinated chicken pieces in it for the grill at 220 degrees for about 35 minutes.
  4. Now at approx. 15 minutes just turn chicken pieces during grilling.
  5. Take out Chicken pieces from oven and coat it with leftover margination.
  6. Your delicious, creamy Afghani Chicken Recipe is ready to serve them with spicy chutney.
