About Recipe:


Afghani Cuisine is known for its mild spicy and lip licking flavours. Made with the light cream, chicken and lime juice, this appetizer tastes best when served with some spicy chutney or raita. if you want celebrate some special occasion such as kitty party, birthday, anniversaries and more, then this Afghani chicken give you delicious taste with mouth-watering flavours. This chicken afghani provide the vastest range of Afghani cuisine. This dish is mid spicy and delicious as well because of fresh cream and we bet your friends and family will love this dish. Unlike other Mughlai dishes, this one is slightly mild spicy, but you can garnish this dish with grated ginger, onions rings and coriander leaves.

Ingredients:


Main Ingredients:

  • 1 kg chicken
  • 4 tsp lime juice
  • 2 tbsp. ginger paste
  • 2 tbsp. garlic paste
  • 6 tbsp. heavy cream
  • 1 tsp green cardamom (grounded)
  • 6 tbsp. cashew nut paste
  • 3 tbsp. oil or ghee
  • 2 tsp ground black pepper
  • Salt to taste

For Garnishing:

  • 1 lemon slices
  • Onion rings
  • Green Coriander

Directions/Method:


For marination:

  • Take a bowl, add Cream, Ginger paste, Garlic paste, Lime juice and Cashew nut paste mix it well.
  • Now add dry ingredient Black pepper and Cinnamon powder in it and whisk it slowly.
  • Add Salt according to taste.
  • Your marination is ready.

For Afghani Chicken:

  • Finally add Chicken pieces in marination and cover it.

  • Now add oil and keep it aside for about 3-4 hours or overnight, due to this it helps in enhance its flavour.
  • After that, take oven tray and add marinated Chicken pieces in it for grill at 220 degree for about 35 minutes.
  • Now at approx. 15 minutes just turn chicken pieces during grilling.
  • Take out Chicken pieces from oven and coat it with leftover margination.
  • Your delicious, creamy Afghani Chicken Recipe is ready serve them with  spicy chutney.
