Moong Dal Barfi Recipe is the most celebrated barfi, it is very easy to prepare as the main ingredients in the house of Moong Dal and Mawa with some dried fruits. It is a really delicious dessert which is prepared by roasting the moong dal in ghee. Everyone, including this child, is ready to eat this moong dal barfi recipe

Ingredients Of Moong Dal Barfi Recipe:


Main Ingredients:

  • Moong Dal - 500 gm
  • Mawa (dense milk) - 500 gm
  • Ghee – 500 gm
  • Sugar – 500 gm
  • Saffron - 2 grams
  • Cardamom - 20 grams

To Decorate -

  • Silver work
  • Finely chopped cashew nuts
  • Fine pieces of almond

How To Make Directions/Method:


 

  1. Moong dal soaked in water for about 2 hours.
  2. Then grind the soaked lentils.
  3. Heat the ghee in a pan and add grated lentils.
  4. Then Lent it until golden brown. When the lentils are well roasted then you put the mawa (dense milk) in it.
  5. Cook until and until the moong dal mixture starts leaving the edges of the curry.
  6. After that make the syrup of two strings, and put it in Barfi and mix it well.
  7. Once the moong dal becomes barfi, spread it in the ghee plate.
  8. After cooling, chop in square pieces with a knife. Or you can feed the guests in the shape of the heart.
  9. Finally you can decorate it with the silver work, chopped cashew nuts, and chopped almond.
  10. Your moond daal barfi recipe is ready.
