Kheer is very delicious dessert in India. It is made in every family with great love. Kheer is made by many types, such as rice kheer, sabudana kheer, makhana kheer, etc.
Rice kheer is a favorite Indian dessert made with basmati rice, milk, nuts and saffron. Rice kheer is also one of the most popular kheer variety made in North Indian cuisine along with Seviyan kheer and Phirni.
This delicious rice kheer can be made for any festival or celebration like Diwali or also as a sweet dessert which you can serve after meals.
The main key ingredients is rice and milk, it can be eat hot and cool.
Ingredients Of Rice Kheer Recipe:
1 Litre Milk
- 50 grams - Basmati rice
- 8 to 10 - Almond
- 8 to 10 C
- 6 - 7 Chironji
- 4 - 5 Makhana
- 6-7 Green cardamom
- Pinch of saffron
For Garnishing:
- Chopped dry fruits
How To Make Rice Kheer Recipe Directions/Method:
1. Take milk in vessel and boil it. Once the milk is boiled well, wash the rice and drain it, add it in the milk boil it for about 15 minutes till it becomes thik.
2. As long as milk and rice are cooked, chopped cashew nuts and almonds in small pieces, meanwhile clean chironji and makhana keep them aside.
3. Keep the saffron well soaked with a spoonful of milk.
4. When the kheer is ready, Once the kheer becomes thick, add sugar to it and cook it for five minutes.
5. After 5 minutes, add small cardamom (remove the peel and grind it) and mix it in the kheer. Now add all the dry fruits to the kheer. Mix all together for one minute. Now your kheer is ready, mix the saffron in it. Garnish it with nuts.
