About Shahi Tukda Recipe:


Shahi Tukda or Tukra Recipe (शाही टुकड़ा रेसिपी) is a simple yet delicious recipe, which makes for a delightful treat for sweet lovers. This Shahi Tukda bread recipe is made from the childrens hearts and favorite dishes of children. You can make it and keep it for several days. Children eat big royal toast with great passion. It is pleasant to see and look very good in food. It also makes for an easy festive recipe, which tastes best when served with savories or after a lavish meal. Popularly known as Double Ka Meetha, this easy Shahi Tukda recipe is a famous Hyderabadi dessert. lets make this traditional Shahi Tukda recipe at home step by step.

Ingredients Of Shahi Tukda Recipe:


Main Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Ghee
  • 1 cup Water
  • 6-8 thread Saffron
  • 1/2 tsp Green Cardamom powder
  • 6-8 Bread slices

For Garnishing

  • 1 tbsp. crushed Cashews nut
  • 1 tbsp. crushed Pistachios
  • 1 tbsp. crushed Almonds

How To Make Directions/Method:


For making sugar syrup

  1. Take a pan to add sugar and water in it, bring into a boil on medium flame.
  2. Add green cardamom and threads of saffron in it and boil it again.
  3. Your sugar syrup is ready to keep aside.

 

Making of Shahi Tukda:

  1. Take a pan to add all bread pieces and shallow fry them in ghee until it becomes crispy and golden brown from both sides.
  2. Dip bread slices into sugar syrup for a while and take it out on a plate.
  3. Garnish it with chopped cashew nut, almonds or pistachio, your Shahi Tukda Recipe is ready.
