About Palak Paneer Recipe:


Palak paneer is a vegetarian dish from the Indian Subcontinent, this recipe comes in curry type dish consisting of paneer in a thick paste made from puréed spinach and seasoned with garlic, garam masala, and other spices. Palak Paneer is one of the most popular paneer dishes.
Paneer (Indian cottage cheese) is cooked with spinach and spices in this creamy and flavorful curry.
The spinach is blanched and then pureed. It’s then cooked with spices and simmered on low heat with paneer.
Cream is added to cut down on the bitterness of the spinach leaves and also make it rich.
It pairs well with naan, paratha or jeera rice.

Ingredients Of Palak Paneer Recipe:


500 Gm Spinach

  • 250 gm cottage cheese
  • 50 grams fresh cream
  • A tomatoes
  • Two onions
  • Garlic 8-10 buds
  • Ginger-half inch piece
  • A tbsp ghee
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • Pinch well
  • Four green chillies
  • One spoonful of coriander
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • ¼ tsp Garam Masala
  • Salt to taste

How To Make Palak Paneer Recipe Directions/Method:


  1. First take spanich and clean it. Wash it well several times with water so that its becomes clean.
  2. Now turn on the gas and put two cups of water in the bowl to boil the spinach. After 5 minutes, take out the spinach in chilled water so that it remaind green in coloras it was.
  3. Now grind the tomatoes then chop the onion finely and make an onion paste in a mixer with garlic, ginger and green pepper.
  4. Now heated one spoon of ghee in a curry add roasted asafoetida to it and roast it till it becomes brown. Now add ginger, garlic, green pepper paste to it. Put the tomatoes and roast them. When the spices are well cooked, ghee will come on top of the spices.
  5. Now add spoonful of spinach. Mix the spinach for two minutes. Now cut into pieces of your choice of paneer or cottage cheese and add it to the spinach. Now let the fry roast for five minutes, now add salt according to the taste.
  6. After most of these, you can add fresh cream in it and if you do not have cream then you can get fresh cream of milk. Cook for two minutes after adding the cream. After cooking, remove the kadai from the gas. Now, Sprinkle garam masala. Your palak paneer is ready.
  7. For the decoration- you can serve the cottage cheese with pudding or chapati and tomatoes, onions, cucumber salad.
