Khaman Dhokla Recipe is a vegetarian food item that originates from the Indian state of Gujarat. Instant Khaman Dhokla is a steamed cake made with a fermented batter derived from chickpea flour and spices. khaman Dhokla can be eaten for breakfast, as the main course, as a side dish, or as a snack. you can prepare soft and spongy instant dhokla in less than 25 minutes. so lets make instant khaman dhokla recipe step-by-step.

Ingredients Of Instant Khaman Dhokla Recipe:


Main Ingredients:

  • 150 gm Besan (gram flour)
  • 1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic-Green chilli paste
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp Curd
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1-2 tbsp Eno fruit salt

For Tadka:

  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 8-10 Curry leaf
  • 1-2 tbsp Mustard seeds

How To Make Instant Khaman Dhokla Recipe Directions/Method:


Dhokla batter method:

  1. Take a bowl to add Besan and add all ingredients (ginger-garlic-chili paste, sugar, salt, and curd) in it.
  2. Mix it well in a bowl.
  3. Now add little water in it, don't make its consistency to thin.
  4. Add baking powder or baking soda in it.
  5. Mix it well, Your Dhokla batter is ready.
  6. Put the Dhokla steamer on gas add water in it and leave it.
  7.  Now grease the mold with ghee or oil so that the batter doesn't stick to the mold.
  8. Add Eno fruit salt in Dhokla batter and mix it softly don't beat it fast with your hands, now pour the batter into the mould.
  9.  Now put mold into the steamer pot, cover it and leave it for 15 minutes.

 

For tadka:

  1. Add oil in a pan heat it.
  2. Now add mustard seeds when seeds crackle add curry leaves in it.
  3. Then add water and sugar in it heat it and bring it to boil.
  4. Your tadka is ready.
  5. Pour it over Dhokla, Your Instant Khaman Dhokla is ready to serve it with green or coconut chutney.
