1- Take a bowl mix buttermilk, semolina, gram flour, a spoonful of sugar, salt according to taste. Add ginger, green chillies, curry leaves, grind them and mix them. And keep it for an hour.
2- After one hour, add one lemon juice, baking soda, oil in a batter and mix these three things well in it. Grease the plate with oil and put the batter in it,
3- Put the steamer (steam cooker) on the gas stove.
4- Now put the plate in steamer for 10-15 minutes. After that check it with knife is it cooked or not, take it out for cool down cut dhoklas into the pieces. And put them in a plate.
5- Heat the oil in a pan and add the mustard seeds and curry leaves in it, when the mustard seeds is cracked, add asafoetida and sugar in it and add a little water, after boiled turn off the gas. Pour that tadka water over dhoklas and eat it with Green Chili Sauce or Tomato Sauce.
