About Recipe:


Tenti pickle recipe is the fruit found in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Its tree is called karela, If the vegetable is not good then we can eat this pickle directly which tastes delicious. this pickle can be served with the indian roti or bread.

Ingredients:


Ingredients:

  • 1 kg Tenti or litter
  • 1 kg buttermilk as per requirement
  • 1 teaspoon mustard grain
  • 1 spoon wry
  • 2 tablespoons fennel seeds
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Pinch of asafoetida
  • ½ kg of groundnut or mustard oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Directions/Method:


 

  • First of all, put the Tenti or Litter in any utensil of pot and let soak it in buttermilk.
  • Put the buttermilk so much that the cracks get wet well, and put it in the sunshine. And then keep the sunshine until they become pale, for about 3-4 days, it will turn yellow.
  • Now take it out and wipe it properly, break its stem.
  • After removing their knives or seeds, put them in a cloth in shade.
  • Now heat the oil, until well enough to rise.
  • Now take it down from the flame and let it cool down.
  • If it is cold, add asafoetida, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, mustard seeds, peeled mustard seeds. You can also grind the remaining spices except asafoetida.
  • Now put litter or Tenti and add salt, pepper and turmeric also. Mix well and your Tenti Dela Pickle Recipe is ready.
