Raw mango sour Sweet launji recipe- This is the popular vegetable of Rajasthan, also known as Kachi Keri ki Sabzi. It is sour-sweet in taste.
This sweet and spicy chutney is called aam ki launji and is quite popular in northern India. It’s made with pickling spices, sugar and some spices! If you love the combination of sweet and spicy like me, then you will love this chutney!
If you like spicy chutney, add more of red chili powder. If you prefer sweeter chutneys add more sugar. You might also need to add more sugar is your raw mangoes are really sour, so adjust accordingly. In case you don’t want to use sugar, you may also sweeten the chutney with jaggery.
It is mostly made in the summer and kids like it. Contains calcium, vitamin-D, vitamin-C, vitamin-A, which provides plenty of comfort in the summer.
Ingredients Of Raw Mango Sweet And Sour Launji Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 250 grams - Raw Mango (amia) cut into small pieces
- 1 tsp - ghee
- ¼ teaspoon - cumin
- Pinch full - asafoetida
- 1 tbsp - sugar
- One cup - water
- According to the taste - red chili
- Pinch of salt
- ½ teaspoon - small white cardamom
How To Make Raw Mango Sweet And Sour Launji Recipe Directions/Method:
1. First wash the Raw Mango and boil a little in a steam and filter it by straining and keep aside.
2. Heat the ghee in a pan, and fry cumin and asafoetida. Once cumin seeds and asafoetida are well roasted, add boiled beans to it, mix it well.
3. If the Raw Mango is cooked well then add sugar and add one cup of water, and let it cook for five minutes.
4. When the sugar and Raw Mango are cooked together, make an essence, add pita cardamom powder in it. According to the taste you can add salt, pepper to it also.
5. Take your Raw Mango Sweet and Sour Launji recipe is ready. If you do not want to boil amia, you can also make it by putting raw amia directly.
