Instant Raw Mango Pickle Recipe

About Recipe:


Carri i.e. raw mangoes that comes in the summer. Raw mango pickle makes it everywhere, but in Rajasthan this is cooked in the house as a vegetable and cooked in the summer. So we can also call it carri ki saji . raw mango is very beneficial for health. You can eat it by making it in many ways, like - sweet loungi, raw mango, chutney etc.

Ingredients Of Recipe:


Ingredients :

  • 250 gms - raw mango
  • 50 grams - Fenugreek seeds
  • 2-4 garlic bud
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp.- Turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp.- Cumin
  • Pinch of asafoetida
  • 1 serving spoon- mustard oil
  • 1 tsp. - Fennel seeds
  • Salt - according to taste
  • Green Coriander - Chopped and washed

How To Make Directions/Method:


1. First wash the raw mango/ami and keep it on dry cloth for dry.

2. Take a cooker add raw mango/amia and fenugreek seeds  and water to keep it to cook for a whistle after that sieve them.

3. Add mustard oil in kadai heat it and add cumin and asafoetida. Now add chopped garlic and fennel seeds in it and fry it, Fry all the spices on medium flame . Now add raw mango/ Amia and  fenugreek seeds in it. Add red chilli powder and salt to it also from above and cover it for 10 minutes. turn off the gas after cooking.

4. Your Instant Raw Mango Pickle recipe ready to eat. It can be kept in the fridge for seven days. 

Tip: If you find it sour, then add some sugar in it while cooking. Tastes good and it tastes too good.
