Malai kulfi recipe is an Indian frozen dessert made from whole milk, heavy cream and sugar. It is flavored with cardamom powder and chopped nuts. It is loved by kids as well as adults. Ingredients Of Malai Kulfi Ice Cream Recipe:


Main Ingredients:

  • 500gm milk
  • 90gm sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp. cornflour, dissolved in water
  • 15gm almonds (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
  • Few saffron strands, soaked in milk
  • 1/2 tsp pistachios (chopped)

How To Make Malai Kulfi Ice Cream Recipe Directions/Method:


  1. Take a pan, add milk in it, and heat it on medium flame for 8-10 minutes.
  2. Add sugar in it, stir it lightly for about 10-12 minutes.
  3. Boil it well on medium heat.
  4. Now add all the ingredients (almonds, pistachios, saffron, cornflour and green cardamom) in milk. Mix it and simmer it for 10-12 minutes.
  5. After that take out the mixture in bowl and keep it aside for completely cool down.
  6. Now pour the cool mixture into kulfi mould and keep it in refrigerator for 6-7 hours.
  7. Your malai kulfi is ready. Serve it chilled.
